This document is a living editorial guide for Next Investment deal briefs. It demonstrates every field and content feature — from card metadata to the full deal brief body. Do not delete this document; create new deal documents alongside it.
Card and Deal Page Fields
- Title — the deal card headline and detail page h1. Translate both EN and AR.
- Description — the deal summary on the card and at the top of the detail page. Keep it to 1–3 sentences.
- Date — target close or announcement date. Controls sort order; newer dates surface first.
- Sector — deal category: energy, infrastructure, agriculture, technology, or realestate.
- Status — pipeline stage badge on the card. Options: Under Review, In Due Diligence, In Negotiation, Completed.
- Images — the first image becomes the card thumbnail. Additional images appear in a grid on the detail page.
- Content — the full deal brief body. Supports headings, bullet lists, bold and italic text, pull quotes, and inline links.
Content Body Features
The content body is a Portable Text editor with scroll-reveal animations on the detail page. Combine bold and italic in the same span for maximum emphasis.
- H2 headings for deal sections: Overview, Key Terms, Return Structure, Risk Considerations
- Bullet lists for term sheets, key metrics, and risk factors
- Bold for figures and key terms; italic for qualifications and caveats
- Inline links — for example, view all insights — for references and source materials
“We look for deals where patient capital creates structural advantages that short-term investors cannot replicate.”
— Madad Investment Committee
Arabic Translation
All fields should be translated into Arabic. The site falls back to English for missing translations — but full translations are strongly recommended for the complete bilingual experience.
